A 110 m² flat on Carrer Fàbrica, Santa Catalina (postcode 07013), built in 1972 with four 8-10 m² bedrooms and a single 22 m² living-dining room. The owners wanted a three-bedroom layout with a 35 m² living area, a 4 m² dressing room and a home-office alcove, keeping a family of four in the flat during the works.

We installed 85 m² of Knauf continuous false ceiling dropped 35 cm to route new 15 kW electrical wiring and 9000 BTU Daikin AC ducts, 28 linear metres of 78 mm partition to redraw the layout, a 46 mm lining with 40 mm Isover on the north façade (which had condensation problems), and a Placo BA13 decoupled partition with 70 mm Rockwool on the party wall shared with the neighbour.
