A former 180 m² footwear-manufacturing warehouse in the Inca industrial estate — a reminder of the shoemaking capital — was to be converted into offices for a digital-services company. The premises kept their original open-plan structure with a roof already replaced by sandwich panels, polished concrete floor and 4.5 m clear height. The owner needed three independent offices, a glass-fronted meeting room and an open collaboration zone.
We installed 52 lm of Knauf double-board drywall partitions with 48 mm Isover rock wool for acoustic privacy between offices (47 dB reduction, well above CTE DB-HR). The meeting room was built with drywall partitions up to 2.70 m and a glass top section. An accessible 60x60 cm Placo false ceiling was fitted across the full area to integrate LED luminaires, HVAC ducts and network cabling, dropping the usable height to 2.80 m to improve HVAC efficiency.
The project was completed in 12 working days at an approximate cost of 14,200€. The company moved into the new offices just three weeks after the initial site visit, avoiding months of conventional construction.
